Pre-Concert Chamber Performance

Join us for the special pre-concert chamber music performance featuring the Strelitzia Trio performing the first movement of Brahms' Piano Trio No. 1 in B major.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the Strelitzia Trio is coached by the Franklin Pond Chamber Music program, through which they receive masterclasses from renowned chamber musicians. Formed in the fall of 2024, the trio comprises members of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and alumni of past ensembles. In 2025, they were named semifinalists in the Coltman Chamber Music Competition and awarded the Grand Prize at the Franklin Pond Chamber Music Competition. The namesake "bird of paradise" flower reflects both their artistic vision and the legacy of past Franklin Pond ensembles.
