A passionate advocate for orchestras and their role in building strong communities, Jennifer Barlament joined the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in 2016. As the institution’s chief executive, Jennifer defines the strategic vision for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra while engaging key audiences to make that vision a reality.

Nathalie Stutzmann joined the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as Music Director beginning with the 2022/23 season, becoming only the second woman in history to lead a major American orchestra after Marin Alsop.

Robert Spano, conductor, pianist, composer, and teacher, is known worldwide for the intensity of his artistry and distinctive communicative abilities, creating a sense of inclusion and warmth among musicians and audiences that is unique among American orchestras.

Norman Mackenzie's abilities as musical collaborator, conductor and concert organist have brought him international recognition. As Director of Chorus for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO), since 2000, and holder of its endowed Frannie and Bill Graves Chair, he was chosen to help carry forward the creative vision of legendary founding conductor Robert Shaw.

William R. Langley began his career as an orchestral conductor at age sixteen. In 2009 he founded the Wolf River Chamber Orchestra and in 2011 the Memphis Repertory Orchestra.

Finan Jones is a young conductor praised for his "instinctive musicality and his passion for music of different genres."
