The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus accepts audition-inquiries on a rolling basis. Given the current situation with COVID-19, our auditions previously scheduled on August 30 and 31 have been postponed. We will post updates as they become available. Auditions for ASYO are held annually in the spring before the season begins in the fall. Applications for the 2019/20 auditions are currently open now through May 1, 2019.
The optimal TDP student possesses a passion for classical music and the drive to be a professional musician. This student is committed to meeting the demand of the program's requirements including weekly lessons and regular jury evaluations to monitor the student’s progress.
Internships are important in supporting the developing careers of individuals interested in the nonprofit sector generally and to broaden an interest in the arts specifically. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Internship Program offers a meaningful, hands-on experience for high school juniors/seniors and college students who are interested in exploring careers in arts administration or arts education. Internships offer a wide range of performing arts events and programs that provide a setting for a future career in arts management.
