The ASO is pleased to welcome applicants to the new ASO Fellowship Program. This Fellowship is an excellence-based training program for exceptional early-career/post-graduate symphonic musicians representing historically underrepresented populations in American orchestras.
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus auditions will be held August 27-28, 2023.
PLEASE NOTE: The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will require all members of the ASO Choruses to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in advance of any appearance to rehearse or perform on the Woodruff Arts Center campus. As such, auditionees will also be required to provide proof of vaccination and present it at their scheduled audition-appointment.
Auditions for ASYO are held annually in the spring before the season begins in the fall.
The optimal TDP student possesses a passion for classical music and the drive to be a professional musician. This student is committed to meeting the demand of the program's requirements including weekly lessons and regular jury evaluations to monitor the student’s progress.
Internships are important in supporting the developing careers of individuals interested in the nonprofit sector generally and to broaden an interest in the arts specifically. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Internship Program offers a meaningful, hands-on experience for high school juniors/seniors and college students who are interested in exploring careers in arts administration or arts education. Internships offer a wide range of performing arts events and programs that provide a setting for a future career in arts management.
