The Grammy-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus performs large-scaled symphonic/choral works under the direction of Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann, Music Director Laureate Robert Spano; ASO Director of Choruses Norman Mackenzie, and guest conductor Krzysztof UrbaƄski.

The ASO Chamber Chorus, a select group of 60 singers drawn from the ASO Chorus, will perform more intimate works - from the Baroque to modern periods under the direction of ASO Director of Choruses, Norman Mackenzie.

All singers volunteer their services and are selected by audition. Requisites for auditioning include previous choral experience, music-reading ability and availability to meet the schedule. Rehearsals for the ASO Chorus are held on Monday evenings (7:30-10:00pm) throughout the concert season. On choral performance weeks, there are rehearsals or performances each night of the week, Monday through the final performance.
