About
PROGRAM UPDATE: Due to illness, Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider is unable to perform in these concerts. David Danzmayr will lead an updated program which will feature Sibelius' Finlandia in place of Boulanger's Of a Spring Morning.
Currently in his first season as Music Director of the Oregon Symphony, David Danzmayr has appeared with orchestras at many of the world's most prominent concert halls. Hear this brilliant artist conduct two of the most popular works in the concert hall: Grieg's thundering Piano Concerto with the young Nazarene pianist Saleem Ashkar and Tchaikovsky's heartrending Pathétique Symphony.
In consultation with medical and public health experts, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is requiring audience members to show proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of the performance. Proof of vaccination or negative COVID test will be required for all audience members over the age of 12 to enter Symphony Hall. Face masks are always required in the Memorial Arts Building and Symphony Hall. Guidelines are subject to change based on specific artist requirements. More details are available on our Health & Safety page.
