About
Join us for a special pre-concert lecture as part of Echoes of Beethoven, a series exploring the enduring influence of Ludwig van Beethoven on generations of composers. This engaging talk will provide historical and musical context for the evening’s program, illuminating how Berlioz expanded on the model of Beethoven's "heroic" era symphonies, especially the "Pastoral" Symphony No. 6, in his groundbreaking work from 1830 Symphonie fantastique.
This pre-concert lecture will take place in the Event Room across from Symphony Hall.
