About

Midtown After Hours brings a fresh take on jazz, chamber music and more. Expect musical surprises and discoveries from the best in Atlanta's music scene.

In this Jazz Sessions performance, celebrated pianist Joe Alterman takes on one of classical music's great improvisers, Johann Sebastian Bach. Alterman, alongside Kevin Smith and Justin Chesarek, will improvise on classical themes with stories and other jazz standards along the way. Bach is the granddaddy of them all, and we can't wait to see where Joe goes with this one. Grab a drink and a few friends and join us!
