Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Meet a Musician

Join Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians for a family-friendly 30-minute performance. Musicians will play a delightful mix of classical pieces and beloved children’s songs while introducing young listeners to their fascinating instruments. Children and their families are encouraged to participate in this interactive musical experience by clapping, singing, and dancing along. This engaging session offers the perfect opportunity for curious minds to discover the magic of orchestral music in a fun and accessible format.

Step into the world of music at our Instrument Exploration Station! This unique experience invites music lovers of all ages to get hands-on with instruments that bring symphonies to life. A curated collection of string instruments is perfect for all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned players.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Musical Storytime

Robinson Atrium

Join Ms. Curry for a delightful 30-minute Musical Storytime session, where stories come to life through the magic of live music! Children will sing, move, and use their imaginations as they explore tales brought to life by symphonic sounds and engaging narration. This interactive experience is designed to spark creativity, encourage a love of music, and introduce young minds to storytelling through the arts. And don't be surprised if a dinosaur makes an appearance in one of the songs – it's all part of the fun.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's The Tortoise and the Hare
2:30–3:15pm

Music meets storytelling in The Tortoise and the Hare, brought to life by actors and musicians from the Atlanta Symphony. This fun and interactive show invites kids ages 3-8 and their families to enjoy the classic tale of patience and perseverance. Join us as we explore the power of determination – no matter how fast (or slow) you go!
