Tickets for four of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s holiday programs went on-sale today, including the perennially popular Handel’s Messiah and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons; and the Robert Shaw tradition going on for almost 40 years, Christmas with the ASO. The nine Coca-Cola Holiday Concerts are usually sold-out far in advance, so fans are encouraged to think about celebrating Christmas in July to reserve the best seats early for their family and friends.

Back by popular demand, Sounds of the Season returns this December with your Orchestra performing festive favorites like Sleigh Ride and Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. Audience members can sing along to their favorite carols and listen to holiday tunes from around the world with family and friends. Sleigh bells ring Dec. 23 when Symphony Hall transforms into a winter wonderland.

The Coca-Cola Holiday Concerts present Christmas with the ASO, one of the Orchestra’s most cherished traditions led by Director of Choruses, Norman Mackenzie. This beloved holiday event features the Grammy Award-winning ASO Chorus and the renowned Morehouse College Glee Club in a program of classic carols, hymns, and inspirational anthems on Dec. 11, 13 and 14.

The holiday spirit continues with Handel’s Messiah, featuring the Orchestra and ASO Chamber Chorus. Audiences will experience the power and beauty of Part I of this iconic oratorio—in addition to the resounding “Hallelujah Chorus”—in a moving concert on Dec. 18 and 19.

Finally, reset in the new year with Vivaldi’s celebrated The Four Seasons, directed and performed by Concertmaster David Coucheron, Jan. 4 and 6. This perennial sell-out offers audiences the opportunity to experience the sonic landscape of each season in Symphony Hall and is paired with Mozart’s fierce Symphony No. 25.
