Celebrate our country's birthday and heritage with America @ 250 – showcasing the sounds that define our nation. From Bernstein to Artie Shaw, Ellington to Valerie Coleman, experience programs have been curated to reflect both historical and current American culture with a blend of classical, jazz and contemporary voices. We will tell the American story with prominent works that were commissioned and premiered in America, works by expats living in America, and works that shine a light on our multi-cultural tapestry.

Highlights Include

  • Randall Goosby and Jennifer Koh performing violin concertos by Barber and Philip Glass
  • Robert Spano conducting Bernstein's Symphonies No. 1 & 2
  • Rising star Teddy Abrams conducting music from Bernstein's West Side Story
