Stella Reber-Viñas

 

Biography

Stella Reber-Viñas is in ninth grade at Academe of the Oaks, where she is a member of the school orchestra. She has been playing cello for eight years and is in her fifth year of study with ASO cellist Karen Freer in the Talent Development Program. Stella has been a member of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra since 2018, and has participated in the Franklin Pond Chamber Music Summer Intensive Program in 2019, 2021, and 2022. She has been a member of the GMEA Statewide Elementary Honor Chorus in 2019, All-State Honor Chorus in 2020, and All-State Middle School Orchestra in 2021 and 2022.

Fun Fact: Stella's most meaningful TDP experiences have included performing with her teacher, Karen Freer, at an ASO Insider's Evening, and playing Carlos Simon's "An Elegy: A Cry from the Grave" at the Fall 2022 Musicale with Waverly Alexander and Cairo Wren on violin and Christopher Johnson on viola.
