Sage Harrison-Conaway

Biography

My name is Sage Harrison-Conaway. I've been playing harp for 3 years. I attend Charles R. Drew Charter school as a sophomore, and I have been a part of the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble since 2017. I performed at the Southern Harp Festival in 2019. In the summer of 2019, I attended Interlochen Arts Camp. Over the 2020 summer, I received an honorable mention at the Midwest Harp Competition. Also, I virtually attended the UNCSA American Harp Academy summer camp. I have also been a member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra since 2020. I chose the harp when I saw a harp played for the first time at my school in 3rd grade. I decided that I would participate in the harp class as soon as I got to middle school when it was offered to me. No regrets!
