Marley Crawford is a homeschooled student (Class of 2033) who joined the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Talent Development Program (TDP) in 2025. At age five and a half, she began her musical journey through the Suzuki method with Terry Henningson. Several months later, her passion and early promise became clear, and she advanced her studies with esteemed violinist and Sphinx Competition laureate, Shelby Harris.
In addition to the violin, Marley plays piano and harp. She performs with several ensembles, including the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, Kreitman Suzuki Violin Ensemble, Urban Youth Harp Ensemble. Marley has also had the honor of performing at the Atlanta Suzuki Institute’s Honor’s recitals in 2024 and 2025.
Outside of music, Marley enjoys robotics, crafting, visiting the beach, playing with friends, and spending time with her dog Precious. Looking ahead, she dreams big: after completing the TDP, Marley hopes to perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, become a pulmonologist, and even explore space as an astronaut.
