Amanda Lee Williams

Biography

Amanda Lee Williams has been directing, performing and teaching professionally since 2003. While living in Seattle, Amanda was the Director of Education at Youth Theatre Northwest, company member at Jet City Improv, and regular educator/director at Seattle Children's Theatre.

Amanda moved to Atlanta and joined the company of Dad's Garage Theatre in 2016, where she is a regular director, performer and educator. Recent directorial credits include The Primrose Friends: Live!, Adventure Playhouse and Gutenburg! The Musical!, which received a Suzi Bass Award nomination for Best Director of a Musical. While not practicing currently, Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She has been lucky enough to combine her two passions of improv and therapy into a program called Improving Through Improv, which focuses primarily on working with care partners of people living with dementia and people with anxiety.
