Alana is a 10th-grade student at Buford High School who continues to excel and grow as a dedicated young musician. She is a valued member of the Marching Band and Symphonic Band, one of her school's premier ensembles, and has performed in the GMEA District XIII Honor Band several times. More recently, Alana was accepted as a percussionist in the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, further expanding her experience in ensemble performance.

Under the mentorship of Jack Bell, a nationally recognized percussionist and former principal percussionist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Alana has continued to refine her technique and artistry. She also studies under Michael Jarrett, the William A. Schwartz Chair Assistant Principal Percussionist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, whose expert guidance continues to shape her musical development.

As a young female percussionist, Alana strives to master her craft while also break barriers and serve as a source of inspiration to other aspiring musicians. Her commitment, talent, and resilience mark her as a rising leader in the next generation of classical and contemporary percussionists.
