Praise for Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4
Our Bruckner 4 recording has continued to garner praise and attention in press outlets around the world. Gramophone magazine ran a great article based on an interview with Nathalie about the recording, which is worth reading. In a related review, Gramophone went on to state, “This recording of Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony is a bold statement of artistic vision and ambition.”
Critics continue to weigh in, and one of our other favorites is this new one from MusicWeb International: “I like everything about this performance; the Stutzmann-Atlanta partnership is proving most fruitful.”
The most colorful (and extremely positive) review is from the unlikely YouTube star Dave Hurwitz, whose Classics Today site is a favorite among audiophiles.
Dave is the subject of a New Yorker profile from July 2025, "Can Dave Hurwitz Save Classical Recording?” Last year alone, his YouTube channel received over 10 million visits.
The recording is #1 on Apple playlists: #1 on The Orchestra, #1 on Classical PM, and #1 on Women in Classical.
With this release, Nathalie becomes one of the few women to record Bruckner symphony, and the first woman to release a commercial recording of a Bruckner symphony with a major American orchestra. It’s exciting to be part of this milestone.
The album has already been submitted for the 2026 GRAMMYS, and Ashley and the team at Warner Classics are collaborating on an international press campaign.
