UpTempo - A Composer's Voice: From the Serene to the Terrifying

The ASO's UpTempo Teen Night is a dynamic preconcert session designed for teens and their families. This evening, Dr. Braddock, Director of Bands at Mercer University, and Dr. Valencio Jackson, Professor of Music Theory at Mercer University will explore the distinct voices of Barber, John Adams, and Rachmaninoff. The evening will also feature a performance by a guest teen musician and an interactive Q&A. Following the program, you are warmly invited to attend the ASO Delta Classical Series Concert.

This event will take place in the Circle Room at the Woodruff Arts Center. The Circle Room is located on the 3rd floor of the Memorial Arts Building.

Please Note: The classical performance tickets are included with the UpTempo ticket purchase, but tickets are not distributed until the end of the UpTempo event. Attending the UpTempo event is required to secure tickets for the ASO concert.
