When you join the ASO volunteers you enjoy opportunities for
networking, fun and community building. Help us continue to
bring our extraordinary musical experience to Lenawee
County. Your Adrian Symphony Orchestra has many
opportunities for you to share your talents:
Special Events: Enjoy the fun of
working on the special events that are so important to the
budget of the Symphony. Events such as the Annual
Candlelight Auction, and donor recognition events require
the energy, creativity and commitment of many people.
Perhaps you have a great idea for a new fundraising project
- these are welcome too!
Concert Help: As a Symphony Host
you work at the concerts, handing out programs, taking
tickets and seating patrons. At intermission, help sell
refreshments or staff lobby to make our guests feel as
welcome as possible. You may also be a part of the post
concert receptions, making coffee, setting up the
refreshment table and helping with the clean-up afterwards.
It is a great way to see the concert and meet the musicians,
conductor and other ASO volunteers.
Spreading the Word: Can you help
with the on-going job of getting the word out! Do you enjoy
taking a drive through our county? Distribution of posters
and promotional material throughout the county is needed for
each concert. Do one, or do them all. Phoning subscribers,
helping with mailings, making contacts with organizations
are just a few of the hands on jobs. We also need people to
connect through their clubs, associations and email.
Wherever possible, we need to spread the news of the ASO!
Task at a Time: If you would
rather just help out as needed, be a Symphony Taskateer!
There are many times we have unexpected needs or unavailable
help. This gives you a chance to see the different sides of
the symphony production.
What have you trained to do? What experience do you have
that you would like to share with the ASO? We can
accommodate your schedule for a one-time project or a season
of projects. Please contact Audience Services at
